A GOOD HOTEL CAN MAKE or break a trip. The worst hotel in the best place is still going to make retiring after a long day an unfortunate experience. The best hotel in the worst place, on the other hand, can be something of an oasis. Take the best hotels and put them in the best places, and you’ve got a private slice of the vacation you’ve always dreamed of.
Here are 48 absolutely epic dream hotels.
1. Ladera Resort, St. Lucia
The quarries around Lake Joseph, New York, provided the stone for sidewalks in the early days of New York City. That business faded with the invention of concrete, but there still remains a connection between the city and the area today, with a passel of second homes, like this boathouse. While many of you in the Northern Hemisphere are watching out your windows with despair and your bikes are all tucked in until the thaw…here out on the usual wet coast of BC we have an unusual break in the dreary weather and I happen to have the weekend off. What a cool sight this is….Free Cabin PORN
No, it’s not porn but holy check out the cabins ranging from huts to glamour. I actually spent sometime at the Greenleaf Hut in New Hampshire. I used to work for the Appalachian Mountain Club (AMC) there is a great hut system up in the White Mountains that you have to hike to.
Anyway, that should be for another post. Just gave myself an idea. ;-) But if you have the time not only check out this site but as well as the AMC. There are 37 pages of these cabins and I highly recommend flipping though all the pages. Such a cool site!
