Avid ADV rider! This Blog is all about the adventure in adventure riding. Researching new bikes, routes, accessories, learning about other riders and hopefully a great place for others to comment and explore with me. PLUS, up and down's, wildlife, my dogs, my life!

I haven’t been there since the bridge was put in. You used to have to pull yourself across each river on a small tram car on attached to a cable. “Hippy dippy”, hadn’t heard that term before but it seems to fit…
cool bit of history…I love the fact they allow bikes up there…it’s pretty rough at times riding to McCarthy…like ATV, 4X4 terrain…took us by surprise but was fun…and the boulders up there by the campground made for tricky riding too! WE went up and back in one day and then camped out at Liberty Falls…that was a perfect spot in so many ways!
