Bike is all good at its 1000KM service. EXCEPT….I screwed up the clutch cable after Cheryl installed the risers. WE made sure we had enough slack in the cable but I guess we forgot that you must have enough bend in the cable too. I did not adjust my lever enough by tilting it downwards. Hence, the cable would bend when turning. I was not aware I was doing damage because that little rubber thingy that covers the cable hid the damage I was doing.
So, lesson learned…when you installed Rox Risers not only do you need to make sure your cable has enough slack at full lock but make sure you are not bending the cable downward too. New cable ordered and George at Pacific Motosports will make sure he fits the cable properly and my handle bars and lever are in the correct position. Don’t need a longer cable just has to be adjusted a little better. Oops!
Poured on me all the way down to the dealer. Rain follows me on this bike. 😉
Morning rain, foggy shield all part of living where we do…if we never rode in weather like this then the winter would be a write off. Does not really phase me anymore and I have a lot of reflective tape on the bike. Just waiting on a mount for our AUX LED lights…I miss them and we need them on for visibility more than anything this time of year.
Nothing like an ADV bike in front of a Starbucks! Needed a quick coffee! 😉
