Why am I not surprised by these numbers? Is it because I am on of those BLOGGERS and use almost all social media? Do I have a life? Am I missing out on the world? I doubt it…I blog at 3 in the morning before work! 😉

These may not be exact STATS but you get the point.

Did you know that links about sex are shared on Facebook more than any other type of content? Or that 25 percent of Facebook users don’t bother with any kind of privacy control?

What if I told you that if Twitter was a country, it would be the twelfth largest in the world? Would you be amazed to know that 97 percent of fans on the Pinterest Facebook Page are women, or that images shared on Instagram receive, collectively, 575 Likes per second?

I must admit that none of the stats presented are much of a surprise either. I think I have tried all of them and find most of them real time-sinks. Now Facebook is only for third-party authentication source for some sites that only allow FB logins, Twitter has become a news consumption site, G+ is in the worthless category (too much noise), Instagram tried too hard to monetize and also became too noisy and Pinterest has no interest for me….
