went for a quick ride today, cold, clear, & wonderful 🙂
it was a great day to ride. I have been on call so much took the chance the moment I got off call for work…did about 140 KM today but spent a lot of time just watching birds…lol
Have the Princess Auto $19.95 version of the hippo hands for cooler fall and spring rides on the KLR. (too much snow for winter rides here). They are sold as ATV accessory but hey really do work.
nice price….these worked well…no heated gloves all day and well made for the F8…pretty neat farkle and made in Canada too
Ah…..I wish I would have known you wanted to get these since I have 2 pairs of Hippo hands that have never been used – I ordered them before we went on a long trip (where I thought I might encounter cold weather) but they didn’t arrive in time so they’ve been sitting in storage ever since. Glad to know they work well and you were able to get a ride in today!
I like being able to wear thinner gloves and not have to use my heated gloves all the time. The hippos worked.
Keep them you never know eh?
