Mirage 2 Shield and Cock Pit

Good view and short video of the Mirage 2 shield on my F800GS and the location of the Montana 600 GPS.  Love where the GPS is located on the dash.

  1. Thanks for this great video. The Mirage seems to work well. That is an ideal gps location. I’m 6′ tall and my Touratech tall touring windshield pushes the air right at my helmet creating horrible turbulence and buffeting. Not sure how tall you are. Do you think this would push the air out and above better. No hurry on the answer. Thanks!

    1. The benefit of this shield is that you can adjust the height based on where your are riding. I have found the correct height adjustment for my head but wind is still getting around the faring and hitting my chest for some reason. I am 5’4 1/2 ” and have the low seat. I wonder if that is making the difference regarding the wind? My friend and owner of MotoOverland Dave has no issues with wind at all and he must be at least 5’9″.
