It was politely brought to my attention that my post on March 19th 2013 with the picture of Murphy’s Motorcycle Laws might have offended some folks! Specifically #3. I apologize for my lack of sensitivity and over sight. Although I will keep the post up just know there is nothing malicious behind me for posting these “Laws” because that is not what we are about. Thanks for understanding and also for bringing any concerns to our attention.

While any references to WWII are sensitive, I equally question those who are overly offended by any mention of it… It’s human nature to make light of horrible things that happened in the past, and this is important, as it keeps those memories alive so that history hopefully never repeats itself. Already, the generation who can remember the war first-hand is dwindling as they are 80+ and dying off due to old age. Two generations up my own family tree I had family members murdered in Neuengamme yet today nearly everyone in my family have either German or Japanese vehicles. What happened 70 years ago should be forgiven, but absolutely never forgotten.
