When you ride at or near the limits of you abilities based on your experience, age or physical condition and/or ones infirmities you are for all intents and purposes an ADV rider. Not everyone can ride Dakar, Top of the World, Bear Tooth Pass etc. It is really about what you feel inside and what the experience means to you personally. No one else can ride it for you. Ride as hard as you feel comfortable riding and enjoy the journey, 50 blocks or 20,000 miles. IT is after all all about perspective, YOURS !
