They missed the Großglockner, a mountain so good for motorbiking the Austrians even produce a 50ish page brochure to encourage people to ride it! But the one let-down when I was in Austria last week is the sheer number of police speed checks, in 3 days we went through around 50 (almost every village) and the Austrian police have absolutely NO sense of humour. No tickets though!

Definitely worth a visit! And the people are very warm and friendly, including at the BMW motorrad dealer in Kaprun who had me in and out in 20 minutes for a new set of rear brake pads with no appointment!
