I could be at home now, watching telly with the kids. Well I was thinking about going for a pint, instead I’ve punctured my lung and it’s slowly filling up with blood. I’m going into cardiac arrest now. Silly place to overtake really. Still you live and learn, don’t you?

  1. I got no problems with Public Advertisements such as this. Its a good message. I hope they make some same type of Advertisements directed to Autos with the focus to keep them from Texting while driving and as well as them cutting us off while turning.

    1. Yeah I have to agree. I am so sick of cagers texting when I’m behind them. I stare at them so they can see me in their review mirror and I always get the should shrug. I wish I had Cheryl’s power and I would ticket them all lol

  2. Before Transport for London there was a campaign for years called Think! – a campaign to raise awareness of bikers to car drivers… a couple years ago there was a ‘get to know a biker’ ad which was aiming to show that bikers are everyday people too. There is really a disproportionately large amount of advertising to encourage people to look out for bikers, and that can only be a good thing in my opinion. This is the first I’ve seen aimed at bikers directly, however.

I’ve knocked on a few car windows (as we filter here) when people have done stupid, distracted things like texting/gassing on the phone… usually they find it slightly disturbing. I don’t think I’m someone who looks threatening though? And it’s the Audi drivers in London we got to look out for…
