The friendship between dogs and cats is entirely possible and there are many studies that have been done, and even being made, about the affection of these two species.
It is beautiful to see and tell interesting stories of how our pets are easily made friends, play games and are protected from each other. For this friendship lasts forever both should be treated equally, with the same care, the bathroom, game, food etc. This friendship is such that sometimes the dog lets the kitty eat from his plate but sometimes it did not and it’s better for everyone to have their dish for many reasons.
