BMW Seat Heights w/Seat Options

BMW should also offer adjustable seat options built into the bikes for almost all models. One thing we truly appreciated on the Triumph Tiger 800XC.  2 seat adjustments and 2 other adjustable options to lean the seat forward or back.  Would be a perfect mod for the F800GS series.  Just my 2 cents. 😉

  1. I agree, the F800GS would do well with a split rider/pillion seat with height/angle adjustment. This was one of the reasons I got the 1200 as I could not bear to do another 3000 mile trip on the 800 (and that was with the comfort seat!). The 1200’s seat feels like a plank at first but it’s still comfortable after a day of riding. The 800’s comfort seat is great for about 45 minutes but much longer and I start to feel like I’ve just awoken in a Berlin fetish club after consuming a Rohypnol-spiked drink. Disturbing to say the least.

      1. I hesitate to make predictions on upcoming products but this would certainly be a sensible and well received feature. As you say, simple, and so what if it adds another £100 to the price tag, when you’re spending this kind of money £100 is a drop in the bucket.
