It’s been awhile since I have posted anything here. I guess it’s because I have been frustrated. Been sick since October, but really feels like I have been knocked out since my motorcycle accident back in Oct. 2015. Seems my body doesn’t like the month of October. I went through a thyroid storm. Diagnosed with Graves Disease. No big deal, millions get this right? Well, of course it complicated my diabetes. Sugars were through the roof for months. Still are high and I am learning my insulin pump. I have a dead right shoulder. Waiting for a MRI to see if I have a tear or “just” a frozen shoulder. My eyes have been puffy for over a month, creating blurred vision at times. No diagnosis yet and I have seen many specialists.

AltRider introducing the upper crash bar for the 2013 F800GS? Pretty cool and if they are made as well as the bottom set up…then perhaps we might have to add them. I need all the protection I can get with this bike to be honest. It’s an investment we both made and if these uppers help why not? LOVE the look and we LOVE the dirt!
‘Adventure Riding’
There has been a lot of talk recently about what the term ‘Adventure Riding’ really means. Is it blasting down a gravel highway on a fully loaded 1200cc motorcycle? Doing single track on a light enduro style motorcycle with nothing but a backpack? Or is it riding two-up with everything you own, ready to take on the next continent? We feel adventure riding is a way to exercise your creativity. It can be whatever you want it to be. So don’t let anyone tell you differently.
