If some of you have been following my year 2014 you will know it’s been one struggle after another. Break up of my marriage/relationship after 17.5 years, the sudden death of my 10 year-old beagle, job issues, and now I am in the process of actually selling my house and transitioning back to the USA where I was born and raised. I promise to end this post on a high note. 😊

Dear Blog…my journal about everything. Since January 30th 2014 I have been consumed with the hurt that comes with a separation of a relationship I thought was supposed to be forever. As our legal issues get closer to a close, I can’t help to but feel even sadder. Time certainly has past by, I am hesitant to even talk about my separation to anyone because it feels so old news. I feel at this point I am becoming a burden on others and I can sort of tell. Even when I reach out…at times specifically ask to talk I no longer have the few who used to respond. It’s long but made for me to share with you. Music included were the tunes I listened to a lot throughout my journey. Some may sound depressive some may not. All have meaning to me and I can actually visualize the sights, sounds, smells and weather of course throughout my trip based on songs. It’s a cool way to correlate all the many places I was fortunate to explore from May 17th – June 15th 2014. At the end of course is my tribute to me Beagle, Cruizer….I hope some will watch and get a flavor of what it is like to travel 14,107 KM’s. Leslie
Day 8-635.4 KM’s
Day 9-739.6 Km’s
I have arrived on the east coast of the USA in North Carolina yesterday, May 25th. Took me 9 days to get here with a lot of boring pavement riding

Day 6 – 742.2 KM’s. Day 7 – 560 KM’s.
Yesterday seems to be a blur to be honest. Even today because I am thinking too much. I supposed every ride report has a theme and this one seems to be amnesia. Continue reading “Day 6 & 7 – Gratitude and A bit of a Set Back”
great blog entry…thanks
I was given permission to post this on our blog. Please read. This might be a post not many even comment on…sad but true. Too intense? Too political? I don’t know but hope it’s read.
It is very heart warming and humbling to know our blog about everything can influence a person like to this to share their horrific story and then thank us for publicly posting who we are….people are amazing and this is one reason I try to diversify our BLOG.
I have been reading your blog now for a while and have really enjoyed it. I just wanted to share with you how much it means to me and to thank you for the time you have put into it – sharing so much of your life. Also to Cheryl for her work with the It get’s better video. I had seen the video first and then somehow stumbled upon your blog. It has meant the world to me to see your lives together as normal and healthy – something to be celebrated and lived. In the video I had never heard women speak of their lives and sexuality in such a positive way and it captivated me. Growing up – gay only meant men and it was directly connected with rejection, Continue reading “Why do we BLOG???”
The honor guard sets the scene and mood….perfect touch…thanks to Cheryl’s Friends/colleagues for doing what they do best.
We gave each other 2 rings. One was the commitment band we exchanged back 15 years ago and we both now have a diamond band representing our marriage.
