I let my local dealer know that your trip report was a big factor in buying a Triumph (buying after I get over a knee replacement I had last month) and that I believe that Triumph letting you two use these bikes will lead to a lot of sales for them. Smart move on Triumphs part, I only wish you could have worked out a deal to buy the bikes.

I had knee surgery in February although not a replacement. Good luck in your recovery…knees take longer than I thought….as for your purchase…great! You will love the bike…as for Triumph? Cheryl and I are still wondering why they loaned us the bikes because they really did not seem to have too much interest in the trip especially after it was done. We could have a great presentation put together to show off the North and the bikes but Triumph has no plans. As far as owning a Tiger right now? Not really a big deal not to have them in our garage because we still believe in the bike. Still would talk about them publicly but again no interest. maybe our open book about our stalling issues turned them off? Dunno. In any case we are just enjoying our Beemers and the fact we can ride all the time. We miss the street comfort of the Tigers but life goes on. maybe one day…we shall see!
