    1. We used to visit Clearwater all the time…well, at least I did Leslie when I lived in NY. Welcome to our BLOG and thanks for stopping by!

  1. I’m thinking about buying a Tiger 800 XC and through my research on it, I found you blog. It looks like you two did some fantastic touring on them. I’m envious.

    1. it was a great trip…once in a lifetime at least with Triumph Canada. These are great bikes. Hope you read our review on them too. Good luck getting yourself one and enjoy if you do!

  2. Just happened upon your site recently. Really enjoy what you two have put together. Working on a long ride myself in the near future. I too like the tiger and the 800 GS. Peace.

    1. try out both if you are interested in buying. The BMW with ESA is nice….the twin engine still never as smooth as the Tiger but with a good seat the BMW now compares to the street comfort of the Tiger…thanks for your comment and for stopping by. Happy New Year!

  3. WOW I’m envious. Hoping to retire in a year and that’s the plan. Head to the West Coast and stright up till my XC will not go anymore; turn around and head accross to Nova Scotia and then south to the Keys. Great pictures of some awsome bikes. Have a ’12 myself for 2 years now and absoutly love it. Tigger Orange. Heiden’s rock too. 🙂

    1. we loved them too but did you notice we are owners of BMW F800’s? 😉 I hope you have the ride of your life and keep going for as long as you can…one of these days..we will pack up and go too…but not quite yet…thanks for stopping by our BLOG!

  4. Thanks ladies…. Much enjoyed looking at your adventure photo’s….. Completed a very similar trip on a GS1200 adventure myself a few years ago, have recently bought a Tiger 800 XCA and look forward to doing the same on a bike that doesn’t weigh the same as a house lol….. Drew Wilson.
