I am afraid that what BMW means by country road is really non-highway paved road, like the twisty black tops so enjoyable in a decent motorcycle (this HP4 can be ridden at very low revs without any surging and with a usable amount of torque, which is an outstanding feat taking into account its top-end bias). If you were thinking about unpaved roads, that is not what they meant. Sometimes translators live up to the olld Italian motto: traduttore: tradittore (translator: traitor), betraying the real meaning of the original. If you were to order a BMW HP for your kind of riding, it would have to be the HP2 Enduro.
