I know the feeling, we are in the midst of an NHSLA accreditation assessment at work… because clearly I needed an extra challenge, I’ve come down with a stinking bastard of a cold and had to pull my first sicky from work in more than 3 years… ho ho ho holly jolly and all that for me!

just came home from a 58 hr shift. My OT this week is now into 70 plus hours

You win! That’s an inhumane number of hours in a week! Hope they pay the extra hours, out here we get nothing (time off in lieu if lucky)… but the European WTD means max 48 hours/week and min 20 days leave/year…
