Our BLOG really started in June 2011 and since our inception we have turned over 100,000 hits sometime today, January 10th, 2012.  To be honest I thought after we were finished with Triumph the BLOG would die but that has not been the case because of all of you and it has become part of my daily routine. Cheryl and I both love sharing anything to do with bikes, wildlife and more with all that care to read and it truly has been so enjoyable to see our map grow with views coming from all over the Globe!

So, on behalf of the two of us….the advgrrls aka Cheryl and Leslie we send out a HUGE thanks and hope this other kind of adventure continues for a long time and you follow along as we both embark in changes in our careers this year, plan on a new trip for the summer, carry on with our bikes and dreams.  We have so much riding to do and as long as there are unpaved roads and we are able to ADV ride, this will be the way we go for a long time.

The ADV community is awesome and you all deserve a pat on the back for being a bunch of riders who are just so respectful, insightful and a delight to know you are reading our BLOG.

The ADV community is also supportive, always willing to offer assistance, as we found out in Anchorage this summer.  Deb & Gary welcomed two strangers into their house when we needed the Tigers to get into The Motorcycle Shop right away, they housed us, fed us and gave us shelter.  Deb & Gary drove us around town, back and forth to the dealer for 4 days.  That is what this is all about….paying it forward in a way.  LOVE that part about ADV riders.
