Military and motorcycles have been together ever since they invented motorcycles. In the old days, motorcycles were used mostly for dispatch riding, faster and more efficient than horses. But even today, all armed forces use motorcycles.
Here are 56 military motorcycles, some old, some new, some new but old, and the last one is a bit sad, if not outright funny.

They deferentially were not made for there looks but there is some nice classic bikes among them, I had a Ex-army BSA M21 600cc single in my teens it weighed a ton *2nd from the bottom*. There is one bike there that you posted is a bike that two Norwegians took one each round the world with side cars on them (The dumb way round they called there trip) it is called a *Nimbus* made in Denmark *11th one from the bottom* a four cylinder Inline shaft drive I seen a few here in Ontario, these guys have a great web site if you have never heard of them – http://www.kccd.no/home_en.html
they have some great footage and pic,s of there journey well worth a look. I also have two Indian Royal Enfields that are still used in the Indian army today.
