So, if anyone who reads this blog was crazy enough to think about riding x country this time year what routes would you take to get New York?

The long way down and around…no cutting corners.

I-5, I-10 and I-95 and even then it would be rolling the dice. Bon Voyage, whatever you decide to do.

I’d ride straight south to Arizona, hang around there for about 5 months, and then head for the East Coast!

Since you asked, I would probably opt not unless you had a lot of contacts across the country where you would feel comfortable parking the bike for a while to wait out nasty weather…

I agree…I have a ton of emails saying don’t do it…it’s suicidal. I may ride to the Baja. I need to get out of here…Or just head South this weekend and be back by next Friday
